Getting started

Open Mix Stamp on the web, sign in or create an account, and follow the prompts to set up your notebook. The web app needs an internet connection to load and save your recipes.

Start with your own recipe, or choose Browse presets to preview curated recipes and import the ones you want into your notebook.

Recipes and variations

Add a recipe with its name, ingredients, quantities, and preparation steps. Open an existing recipe to edit it, and save when you are done. Use variations to keep different versions of the same cocktail together, with their own ingredients and instructions.

Search, favorites, and scaling

Use Search recipes to find a drink in your notebook. Category and source filters help narrow the list. Mark recipes as favorites to find them again in Favorites.

Open a recipe, choose the variation you want, and use Scale to adjust ingredient quantities for your pour. Scaling the displayed amounts does not rewrite the saved recipe.

Drink history and notes

Select Stamp Today on a recipe to record that you made it today. Add a note about the result, substitutions, or what you would change next time. You can edit the entry’s date and note afterward.

Your journal keeps your drink history so you can return to past pours and the recipes behind them.

Your account and backups

Open Account for notebook sharing, backup, sign-out, and account controls. If you use more than one account or notebook, check that you have selected the right one before changing or importing content.

Export a backup to keep a separate JSON copy of your notebook. Restoring a backup replaces recipe content in the selected notebook; export your current notebook first and read the confirmation carefully. Keep backup files somewhere private and safe.

When something goes wrong

• Can’t sign in? Start a fresh sign-in and check that you are using the intended account.
• Missing recipes? Check the selected notebook and clear your search and filters.
• A save didn’t finish? Check your connection and follow any recovery or retry controls shown in the app. Web drafts are not saved offline, so avoid closing or refreshing a page with unsaved work.
• A change conflicted? The first change accepted by the server is kept. Review the latest recipe before editing again.
